How deep is the universe?

god tells us that it is 6 days deep. i don't know what god considered a day though which is why i'm at a loss.

Well people like to think in finite definable terms, like "oh yeah if its flat there must be an edge" But I've never seen an edge and Admirable Byrd said there was a continent beyond Antarctica - so i just think there just is stuff we dont know. For someone to think we today have 100% of the answers is just silly.

it seems like the most logical reason for this conspiracy then is that the earth may have infinite resources, but since that makes all resources worthless the people that enjoy the concept of money, ownership, power would hide such a revelation.

then later on came the guys that thought even though the resources themselves may be infinite there is still money and power in refining such materials which is when we started seeing stuff like the "bronze age" which was really just a market bubble.

i think a lot of people think the further back you go in history the more stupid people are but look at jesus....greatest conman the world has ever known and has been at it for centuries. his con has transcended market bubbles and generation gaps and continues to this day to fool people into losing cash and property to please him.

so even though we may have more "Education" these days it's by no means a measure of how intelligent we are when it comes to dealing with each other. that facade of faith in other humans is why we keep failing to actually progress as people and have come to find solace in simply being "our job" rather than a person.

I wouldn't call Jesus a con man cause I'm not even sure he existed, but I would say there are many conman who use the idea of him to prey on people's weaknesses. I think your thinking of those TV evangelists who make billions and then get caught hanging out in men's bathrooms...It's so easy to become corrupted into wrong thinking.

maybe it's stuff you should know, without a viable working alternative model there is no reason to throw out the current one

can't we test this, two people start on either side of antartica and try to meet in the middle

we are testing it with our global warming machine. if the ice caps melt and all the water doesn't flow off the edge of the world then we know the earth is a sphere.
