yeah it's like this with huffs and grunts
but it mostly happens when i'm not in direct contact with people like on the other side of a wall or something, i'm sure it's in my head but it would be super cool if it wasn't
i would pass it off as hallucination 100% but I think if telepathy were possible it would start with something like this, picking up on the most basic form or commmunication/expression used auditorily (although i think in reality it would start more like empath than telepath, ie feeling rather than hearing emotions)

i'd agree. given it's supposed to manifest from only your brain it would make more sense that the less reliant on words the participants were the more likely it would manifest.

most people can't even understand body language anymore and that gets them into lots of trouble. our language is full of tricks to let speakers be disingenuous and give them a barrier to hide behind.

given that technology has been shown to aid in telepathy i think it's possible albeit widely lied about.
