science is special amongst systems that explain the world in that it doesn't warrant it's infallibility

the asshole that decided to change "planet" status to dismiss pluto was just an attention whore
ok it's true theres much others planetoids with a size close to pluto in the area, but it was still attention whoring im barrely sure.

lol, i don't know how this status change came to pass but it certainly would be valid attention-whoring if it were true

your point, after all you arent astronomy graded.

an astronomy degree ain't required for understanding that Pluto's orbit crosses that of another planet much like the planetoids, asteroids and comets of the outer asteroid belt (kuiper?) do. With stellar objects like Eris that were classified as planetoids to begin with, calling Pluto a planet is dissonant.

pluto isn't even a planet. this has shaken my faith in science tbh

naming a planet a planet is NOT science... it is a classification, the science behind what pluto actually IS, regardless of what you call it, has been the same

both words in one sentence? you obviously have no clue what science is about.

you have a hypothesis how things work and you try to prove it as often and differently as possible, so as many ppl as possible accept your theory, but it still remains a theory. some theories are proven that much, that most ppl in the world belive them to be a fact, but they still remain theories. i bet you wont get it^^
