well now the topic goes even deeper lol...im well aware of that muliple universe theory as stated in previous posts aswell hehe. when talking molecules and atoms you are indeed correct sir. atoms and molecules are limited but are still being produced due to stars going supernovas. this is what scientists theorize "The number of atoms in the entire observable universe is estimated to be within the range of 1078 to 1082.". Now for the longest time astronomers believed the universe would collapse on itself, new evidence shows that is not the case as it is expanding at an even faster rate than before. So fast they say near the end the universe will literally fly apart space will be empty and all that will be remaining will be few burnt out stars and black holes(which do exist). now why would would space be empty. most likely due to the limited building blocks such as molecules. It is common knowledge that when the big bang happened matter and anti matter were released. however there was an imbalance there was 1 more matter than anti matter. that 1 matter is responsible for this whole universe
Essentially our universe is created from a perfect imperfection of circumstances, if you will. It's fascinating to think about how many imperfections had to happen for the universe to form, let alone life to exist.
Eventually, I believe the universe will stop growth due to limited particles and potentially shrink (taking billions more years if this is the case) in theory, it could already be shrinking or stopped but due to the amount of time it takes for light to travel, we could very well just not be observing it.
The accelerated speed of expansion hints at it, as things tend to expand faster when they're given more room to do so.
I'm by no means an astronomist but it's some food for thought
