I made it VERY CLEAR that I was talking about his proofs. Yet you continue to apply my statements to other areas. PLEASE DON'T DO THIS

so you agree that parts of his views are valid? specifically that something was happening before the big bang.

You want me to discuss his views as quoted? fine I will but you won't like it:

Quote (Craig)
Speculative theories, such as Pre-Big Bang Inflationary scenarios, have been crafted to try to avoid this absolute beginning.

1 Inflation is not a speculative theory, it makes many predictions, many of which have been confirmed, lie #1
2 Inflation was not crafted to avoid an absolute beginning, lie #2

Quote (Craig)
But none of these theories has succeeded in restoring an eternal past.

3 The goal of inflation was not to restore an eternal past, in fact inflation brings us closer to an absolute beginning. lie #3

Quote (Craig)
At most they just push the beginning back a step.
Wow mostly true, but trivial, at least it's not another lie

Quote (Craig)
What brought the vacuum state into existence?
Here he is just playing on words, the state of no points is thought to be a valid state, so there is no need for this.

Quote (Craig)
Well, unless you’re willing to say the universe just popped into being uncaused out of absolute non-being
Why not. The creation of the universe, from nothing, violates no known laws, and is consistent with observation. Doesn't mean it happened that way, but it may have.

Great post.

not really, the first few parts when you pointed out the the lies, thats good, the second part could be alot more imformative, less vindicitive, but still much better than

ah yes, Christian apologetics, now that is REAL science... Might want to ask them to amend that statement "speculative theories", lol.

you could also have included what inflation explains, i think it something about the uniformity of the background radiation or something?

In the past you've told me I didn't know anything about chemistry, physics, quantum mechanics, probability, and mathematics... Why should I bother?
