thats ironic because if you were getting youre quantum theory from an avid LSD user you'd be the one who's ignorant
Umm, I was saying I agree that the guy is a nutcase, but it's not necessarily because of his LSD use.

there's a reason you can't go to a serious job interview and be like "yea i do LSD all the time its totally cool" and still get the job
and i'll help you out, the reason is not because everyone who doesnt do LSD is ignorant
I never said people who don't use LSD are ignorant. I'm saying bashing LSD users generally is ignorant. I think it's fallacious to claim that a majority of LSD users are crazy or 90% of them are stupid. I happen to know 10-15, and I think they're all fairly intelligent people. I also believe that if you think LSD use makes you ignorant,
you're ignorant. I think it's a particularly engaging, interesting, and fun experience. As my friend put it: LSD won't make you smart. It won't teach you new things. It will only show you new ways to think about the things you already know. Smart goes in, smart comes out. Dumb goes in, dumb comes out.
I agree that trying to talk to ghosts is a bit ridiculous, and I can agree that to some extent it may have been facilitated by LSD. But I'm also saying from my experience, that isn't the norm, and saying, "The 60s happened," doesn't prove otherwise.
I'm guessing neither of you guys have ever tried LSD, so I don't expect you to really understand what it's like. I am expecting you to not be so hasty with judgment.
