We have already been to 2 of the heavens.

The sky (within our atmosphere) & space. Which are considered the first 2 heavens in the bible.

Pretty sure that's outdated. Went to a biblical scholar's lecture, and he said that's commonly agreed upon.

People would be more receptive of your ideas if you didn't couple them with a bunch of insults

Did any of your philosophy books discuss argumentation and ad hominem?

lol. so any philosophy book is going to explain directly how an engineer can't do his job without philosophy?

keep in mind being an engineer is a learned skill and he was taught all he needs to know in school. there is nothing for him personally to do other than apply a learned skill.

No think about an electric engineer... can we make this phone faster and smaller or someone doing an experiment questioning if the results are fair or any contamination

You're misunderstanding the definition of philosophy. Many scientist are philosophers or they will soon become ...

Like when we used to believe the earth was flat. That wasn't a guess it was an hypothesis. We now refer whoever claimed that as a philosopher...

you seem to be confusing science with philosophy in this matter.

once you learn a skill you apply that knowledge to improving it based on scientific research.

like i said a long time ago the line between science and philosophy wasn't there but today it very much exist.

and to be clear my statements about philosophy i was referring to philosophy based on inherently unprovable topics.

No its the other way around. I suppose if you've never taken philosophy or read about it you wouldn't know.

But ya most people believe philosophy only includes "unprovable topics" but its only a tiny part

Philosophers biggest goal is to question logic... which relates to nearly every profession

Anyways im done its obvious you like to argue

someone advocating philosophy while dismissing the worth of arguments is humorous.

someone like an engineer doesn't question logic but rather improve on scientific principals they learned. there is no philosophical side to it as far as i can tell. i can't think of a single situation a professional would use philosophy over science in your examples.

philosophy is the basis for science but its like admiring the eiffel towers foundation and saying the tower itself is far less important.

I don't know how old are you, but for the third point I recommend to read Descartes, he was theorizing about the third point, and he try to solve it with his methodical doubt
