But what if the aliens were more primitive than us? What if we were the most technologically advanced beings in the universe? Too many what if's in these theories, just believe what you want.
Doubtful. It's probably safe to assume there was aliens with space travel tens of thousands of years ago, likely longer. They're all what if theories, but some are more plausible then others just because of common sense. Mammals developed very very late on Earth, it's again IMO, safe to assume that somewhere they developed earlier or another type of organism did, whether it be like on Earth or something very diffrent (Stuff that doesn't brethe oxygen for example) developed sooner to full sentience and reached space travel much sooner.

they use robotics for that yo rofl they wont come here them selves to take samples we already can take scans of distant planets and determine there composition they will be able to do this x10000000000000000000000000000000
and the reason why they go to the moon is because 99% of moons are rocky and solid unlike glass planets etc
there is absolutely no reason for aliens to come to earth until we become more intelligent
There is hundreds of reasons why they would come. Unless they're violent and hostile creatures which is unlikely despite being popular in movies, they would want to establish contact with us, not to learn something knew, but to feel the immense power that is to be much more technologically advanced than us. Living things are curious, they want to find new things, find out whats diffrent. Thats more than what scan can do.
Maybe they're a completely diffrent organism than humans and they've never seen something like us before. Uplifting a species would be monumental for the uplifting species.
And again, it's not intelligence. Humans are not going to get more intelligent, more educated, more advanced, but not more intelligent. It's doubtful theres aliens out there where on average the IQ is beyond our comprehension. They'd be as smart as humans, just more advanced.
