IMO - The 2012 Basis of Myan Long Calander ending is no more an issue than Our 12 month calander ending. It will just Start again with the first Day of the Calander (aka Jan 1st).

Obama is only he precursor. We have a few more years.

Man created time, the very thought of, the definition of, and the essence itself was all created by man.

Given enough time anything is possible.

I'm not going to spend my days worrying about some arbitrary period in time that people 4 thousand years ago dictate as being "the end of one world and the start of another".

To accept their theories, one must accept the possibility of time being "looped" or "cyclical".

The day scientists can tag time as something tangible, maybe then "prophesies" will have a much more important role in our existence.

To me prophesies at this point in time are a lot similar to throwing a dart blindfolded.
Nobody cares until you start hitting the board.
If you ever do hit a bullseye, people lose all rational thought an assume destiny is what brought that dart dead center, and not cold-hard-probability.

I just said 2012 will not bring the end of days as all imagine and we should discuse about that only if a scientific aspect regarding 2012 is revealed.

If we had like 0,5% chance that a high object will hit the earth sure we should debate the problem but If not it's just pure fantasy

Just to give you some ideas I think If we will create in 2012 enough antimatter for traveling in space purpose and that will somehow escape in matter, yeah the earth will find it's destruction.
