The magnetic poles moving isn't massively affecting our computers. And since it takes 7,000 years for the magnetic poles to reverse, millions won't die as a result of this.

Lets see, 180/6= 30... So at that rate, a 180 degree flip of the magnetic poles would take 30 days! (1 Month)
Meaning, it must acclerate quite a bit at some point, which seems to be happening now.
