heres something that proves ur not ur brain.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phineas_Gagethats the story of phineas gage.
at around 1848 some dude working on a railroad did something wrong and got a 1.25inch thick iron pipe thing go right through his brain from the bottom up and he survived. not only that he also didnt lose conciousness and was the same exact person as before. he could walk, talk, learn new things, retained his intelligence but couldnt see with one eye.
Lol. As others noted, you forgot to read the part where the guys personality was forever changed. Much like the Gabby Giffords case, it's a million to one odds that you'll survive a traumatic brain injury, and even more unlikely that you'll have the same motor functions and personality. But it's possible.
What do you honestly think the brain even does? Do you think it's some kind of low-end calculator and our personality / thoughts / sense of self come from some kind of invisible or spiritual organ?
It's invisible, untouchable, undetectable, but it's still there. Right... you're nuts.
