So you're saying the theory of relativity is empirical?

Noun 1. scientific theory - a theory that explains scientific observations; "scientific theories must be falsifiable"

Okay, we now know what a scientific theory is. . . HOLY SHIT WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?!?!

Yup if it was proven it would be called scientific fact.

???

thats because a car IS a car whether it be Mitsubishi or Ford lol...

the argument is that  a theory, or a possibility in the most simple term, has the same meaning whether it be scientific or "normal"

So what your saying is just because it's a scientific theory, it's true. No matter what? A theory is something UNPROVEN. Meaning believing in theories is the same as believing in a God. So telling someone believing in a God is wrong when you believe in these theories is just hypocritical.

Bold.

why do you continue to state pointless things instead of just addressing the differences between the modern day use of "theory" and "scientific theory" with sources.

i would but i don't give a fuck and this whole discussion is off point

that is exactly the problem. i'm not here to spoon feed these people i'm trying to get the point across they should do that without me having to do it for them. People who do not seek knowledge are the scum of the earth.

It's not spoon feeding, it's thoroughly arguing your point...

ignorant implying they lacked the knowledge. which is saying they need to go get said knowledge.

the only point i had to make for this whole thread was that people who do not learn this stuff and call it false is ridiculous.

You're assuming we know nothing of the "stuff" then?
