None of the shit we do, apart from dropping a shitload of nukes at one time, is any worse then what the planet has gone through on a regular basis.
Super volcanoes, meteors, ice ages. These are all things that have happened before, and will most definatley happen again.
1 Degree is nothing compared to a meteor which would cause everything above ground to catch fire all over the planet.
Not to mention all the Co2, debri, and dust from a super volcanoe, many times greather then what our nukes could do.
Those are natural disaster, with natural ways of correcting themselves. Correct me if I'm wrong but there has never been a unclogged free-flowing oil well before in the history of the earth, has there? The oil doesnt just decompose (it past that point eons ago) so you cant just say itll ride itself out. Volcanos in turn feed the land with the ash, meteors dont acomplish much but It let us over rulle the dino's so w/e, and ice ages teach us to handel the cold (these were intended to be humerous reasons, not actual facts). F*(k global warming, it's happened before and things worked out. This is on a whole other level. Nukes cause radiation which goes away after years, but oil WILL NOT go away, itll just be dispersed more and more.
