T-rex lived in the late creatacious and died of from the extinction.

Smaller dinosaurs that have more room for evolving and adapting to the new envoirment after the climate change proubably evolved into birds.

There are many species that survived, crocodiles, mammals, but all the non-avian dinosaur species died out.

Undoubtedly they exsist... Just not as we percieve the stereotypical "Dinosaur" They evolved into reptiles and birds
