I was just thinking about this earlier today.

In our galaxy alone there's hundreds of billions of stars. It's incomprehensible how many are in our galaxy alone. Not to mention there's hundreds of billions of galaxies out there. Personally I think you'd have to be incredibly foolish to ignore the insane vastness of space. Even if there's a 1/100,000,000,000,000 chance for a star to have a planet capable of life, there would still be a ridiculous amount of planets like that.

Simply, there's too much out there to assume that Earth is the only planet lucky enough to have developed intelligent lifeforms.

until there is a single experiment done that lends any shred of merit toward young earth creationism, he is a moron.

Life? Probably. Intelligent life? Maybe not.

I personally believe that there is intelligent life out there though. Whether we will ever know for sure is another matter.

That's because you believe in evolution, which teaches that we are here by accident, by chance.

And how do you know each galaxy has over 100k solar systems? No one knows this.

you are correct there is no 100% chance but extremely high entropy that there are lifeforms, much likely some much farther in evolution (sry i understand you dont believe in this) than us. but if you believe in god, then why would god make such a vast universe (too big for humans alone to explore) and no other life forms to enjoy it?

I would be worried if we were the only intelligent life in the universe.

We are soo small compared to the rest of the galaxies..
Wouldnt there be like 100% chance there is life somewhere in the universe because its soo big?
DISCUSS...

due to probability, the chance of thereNOT being life elsewhere is inexplicably tiny. so yes, there is life elsewhere, in lots of places

Do you really think that we are the only planet with living organisms out of the trillions of other planets?
