Well the end of the world has been like what, 4 times already?

Don't think this will make any difference biggrin.gif

I agree

The only thing that could kill EVERY human instantly would be a huge astroid or a supernova that kills our atmosphere and cooks us alive.

And you cant predict those

Maybe.. but scientist theorize that because the sun will be in alignment with the center of the milky way and in this effect the center of our galaxy which just happens to be extremely Dense (Black whole's)..It would shift the earth's magnetic poles creating extreme weather changes and possibly alter the earths orbit indefinately .

To believe in doomsday 2012 based upon Astrology would put you in the same group as QUEERS.

It doesn't make sense to believe the world will end simply because the Mayan calender ends on that date. If I'm correct their calender was based upon Astronomy , but those observations have no influence with human affairs. It's just the same as those idiots believing in the "Mars Effect" (the position of Mars affecting the birth of great athletes) based off of some random statistics. Just because two things seem to occur at the same time does not mean they are related in anyway. In the same way the Mayan calender ending in 2012 based upon Astronomical observations has no real scientific meaning to human affairs/existence. To believe in doomsday 2012 based upon Astrology would put you in the same group as bigfoot hunters, ghost hunters, ufo hunters, etc. Astrology is not science its pseudo science.

I agree. If you watch the discovery chan youll see more than a few shows about this very topic. smile.gif

Btw, just a little fun fact...

It just so happens that the suns rays are going to be perpendicular to the middle of the 13th star constilation on the year 2012, which only happens once every 13,000 years. (which is in the middle of all the star constalations and used to be the 13th month of the year until it was considered a bad omen....)

Feel free to argue with me lol

There are scientist that believe when this alignment happens it will cause another ice age. That comes from a special i saw on Disc channel so don't ask me whom believes that.

weren't they saying the world was gonna end in the year 2000 , i don't know if its just where i am but back then there was a tonne of rumours and "conspiracies" saying the world is ending >_> and it never did, and anyway i would never believe crap like that, whoever believes is a sheep (metaphorically speaking)
