Tough choice between transportation and heating/cooling. They are esential for any society and without them the base for the others to develop most likely wouldn't be there.

Heating (fire) goes back to the dawn of humanity, transportation (domesticated animals) go back ~10ka+. Heating is esential for living in so many places in the world (no one would be very far outside of Africa without it).

Actual the most useful invention ever created by man would probably be the flaked stone as a tool, followed by fire and then probably the wheel (maybe not, look what the mayans did without it or draft animals).

Computers, without them this wouldn't exist.

Trains, telelphones and light bulbs have in some way made the world a better place but the rest of those things haven't really achieved that. They've just sped up how we act in the social world, and they've diced up our ability to pay attentipon to things. Of course they have a lot of lure I think trains have been the most significantly positive addition, but because of all the head tax and unpaid manual work put into their early construction, light bulbs win out. They waste energy like hell, but the new ones are pretty efficient and they have a LOT of great applications

You could make a case for any of them. Technological one is sorta an odd ball, since it helped all of the others tremendously, but without the others computers would be the least helpful IMO
transportation you get reasonably effective communication, and most other modern communication can be linked back to the Technological option.
Heating and cooling seems pretty helpful IMO, but thats because I went a week without hot water, and it SUCKED. Light bulb helped with the inventing of all the above (Can't work at night w/out it)

Honestly Id say medical advancements are the most useful invention, and thats not on the list.
