STICKY THIS FTW?

It's a good topic but my thought was that it's more specific than the forum, because the forum covers just about anything genuinely science/tech related smile.gif So far I think this forum is going very well, but it's still sort of churning along slowly. After we get a few pages of topics, I will start to pick out certain topics and keep the links for a little compendium I'm going to work on. That way, if someone is posting about something that has been usefull discussed somewhere, I can lay down the link if the old ideas still apply. In a few years, some of the scicne and tech stuff we might rave or wonder about now could be obselete--could be good for laughs, too biggrin.gif

I'd like to say thank you to the people who added this part of the site!!

I'd also like to comment that science and religion can never be separated much like church and state. We as humans pull from all of our experiences to form opinions and since most of this forum is not going to be calculations that can be proven true or false, most of it will be based on opinions. Therefore I feel, despite any rule or standard, opinions will be expressed with religious back grounds or justifications. Furthermore, those who think that science and religion are vastly different should research the meaning of the words "faith" and "theory" and compare the similarities. And to take it one step further, do people have faith in theories.
