The oldest delusion in the book, that things fall because of gravity - such a retard.

So let me ask you a question - is the air moving with the earth or is it completely stationary like in a train car?

Um it moves with the earth, you don't experience a 1000 mile per hour wind as the earth rotates against stationary air
Anything that comes in contact with the surface would either get thrown off or would be forced to move at the same speed as everything else with fiction etc. Once it's moving at the same speed in will continue to do so with a force towards the center of the earth

It's the same for little rocks resting on the surface but this is more obvious because the friction/lack of movement is more apparent

It all makes perfect sense with simple Newtonian mechanics but it's hard to wrap your head around from everyday experience, same with large orbits/speeds

So if they air moves with the earth at 1000mph as it spins - why is there no difference in the force needed for a plane to travel through the air with the spin as compared to a direction opposite of the earth's spin?

Cant wait for your bullshit circular logic on this one.......

The air is stationary with respect to the plane/earth so it doesn't matter which direction you travel in...
Everything is spinning to start with so any movement/force is relative to stuff around at the start

When the plane takes off in doesn't separate from the rotation of the earth, it's still moving at the same speed and doesn't slow down as it's not moving through air which is also rotating. This is why you can't jump up and travel miles as the earth rotates beneath you

So there it is - the air is stationary when you want it to and moving when you want it too  Truly fantastical logic!

fuck sake learn about relativity please

the earth and air both move but not relative to each other

That works fine, if you dont move, but if you point out that an airplane moving in the opposite direction from the earth spins through the air completely negates your thought because both scenarios cannot be relative at the same time, I guess you're an asshole for destroying helio cuckery.

Which two scenarios you only named one, it doesn't matter if you move or not whatever that has to do with anything
The airplane doesn't spin through the air it moves through it a bit as it's traveling obviously but not against any rotation etc

So in your thinking - if you're standing still the air is moving with the Earth "relative to the earths spin" - so you dont notice it

but if you're in a plane - the air is relative to the direction of an airplane? beCAUSE IF IT'S RELATIVE TO THE DIRECTION OF THE SPIN OF THE EARTH, IT CAN'T BE RELATIVE TO THE DIRECTION OF A PLANE TRAVELING IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF THE SPIN!

so which is it! - Wake the Fuck up!

Well it's not this for sure
Everything is relative to everything else at the same time

Everything starts off moving with the earth having zero speed relative to it, then the plane adds it's own speed in either direction, i don't see what's so hard

So lets say your God looking down on Earth and let's imagine the Earth is absolutely still - the air would be still - everything is fine

Now the earth starts spinning to the East at 1000mph - so the air surrounding earth would start spinning to the east at 1000 mph, but if you're standing still - its relative so you would notice it.

It has to be spinning too, because how else could a helicopter hover and not move one inch from its takeoff point. Because the air is relative to the spin of the Earth.

You invent an airplane and start traveling to the west, but wait - there's a 1000mph air you need to travel against? I already know your going to say " but airplanes work fine, they dont need to fly against 1000 mph air"

That because they are lying to you, there is no gravity, there is no spin. If there was - Airplanes traveling west should need to fly against 1000mph air forces to counteract the spin, now of course they dont - Because its a big Lie.
