Surprisingly, the scientific method works better with science than religion.  Gz on figuring that one out.

Also, wat is that shit in the second line?  No matter what Science was trying to do, if the two don't butt heads at any point then there's no contradiction.  :(

And there are many religious perspectives that believe in divinely-guided evolution and which have absolutely zero contradiction with science.

So, y'know.

WTF man?

DO you not see your own contradiction?

I see no contradiction at all, personally. Maybe you can explain it?

How can something that has been proven to not be compatible with Religion somehow be compatible with it; because you say so? You seem to believe that evolution is compatible with religion, it is NOT.

Evolution does not explain religious phenomena, it explains a tested, observable event.

That is your contradiction.

You're looking at it from the wrong direction again, that's all.

It's not about trying to slave science to religion. It's about figuring out ways in which God, presuming he exists, used the laws of science to his advantage in order to create the universe and the life within.

It's about being able to accept logic and thought along with religion. It's absolutely non-contradicting, and there is certainly nothing that has "Proven [science] to not be compatible with religion."

Who's to say that God did not have a hand in pushing evolution along?

Ah, a retreat to blind assertions and absolutely zero use of logic. gz

Logic tells me not to believe in a man that lives in the sky...the invisible and the non-existent look very much alike.

Logic tells you that it is unlikely. Obstinance and a desire to seem smarter than you are tell you that he absolutely does not exist. :(
