i already said that i dont care for ur opinion or what u do with ur life/money ;p i didnt post here to get a reaction out of someone like u, u just got triggered by my post as if u were 1 of the scientists involved with that research and if that were the case i'd congratulate u on achieving absolutely nothing with the funds that u've been given, very productive indeed!

u seem to go round and round with the idea of me personally donating for research, which has nothing to do with the point that im trying to make. just because i dont fund a research doesnt mean that a research that is funded by someone else is productive and anyone that doesnt fund it is not allowed to criticize it's outcome.

the funds that researchers normally get r very substantial and r normally provided by either private businesses or educational establishments, not random ppl that want to help make the world a better place. charities got that covered pretty well.

if u still dont understand what im trying to say then tough... cos im not planning on replaying to ur posts any further

Well to explain the research it wasn't but 10 years ago that most thought animals were to stupid to even have feelings let alone conversations and the research is not totally about understanding some dumb animal - it's about understanding the nature of Life and Human beings role within it. I think it's very valuable work.

I don't think there is anything called rocket fuel or anything that can slow rocket ships down.
And so i would also like to know your reasoning as to why we had to hide our private air craft at area 51 back when russia launched the first satellites every uhh can't remember how long, like 10 hours or so. So we just assumed that the satellite was above our air Base for a few minutes and then went and dicked around for 10 hours before coming back?
Or possible it really did have to rotate around the globe once again before it could take more pictures.

Based on this question, it think it's pretty safe to assume you have. If have asked several people what the point is and the only thing we can decipher is that english might be a second language?

You're thinking 100 years ago, not ten.

hardly, i bet I can still find someone who believes animals dont have feelings. Look at that Movie Temple Grandin, she's battling the entire Cattle industry about killing cows humanely because they have feelings, and that's only 6 years ago.

Look at the movie about killing Dolphins that was banned in japan , and how they still eat shark fin soup, consider how animals are still illegally hunted and slaughtered for a stupid horn or a bladder, makes me sick.

I think you mistakenly think that if some researcher has a thought , the whole world instantly agrees with them because its "science" right, lol.

So every science that doesnt attempt to solve hunger is not worthy? Come on dude..

It's more like: every science that only attempts to reinvent the wheel is not worthy.

I hate "research" that results in "news" containing information that had already been widely known for years.

Just because you notice something , it doesn't mean anyone else did.

http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/your-hidden-censor-what-your-mind-will-not-let-you-see/

Professor Ulric Neisser filmed a video of two teams of students passing a basketball back and forth, and superimposed another video of a girl with an umbrella walking right through the center of the screen. When he asked subjects in his study to count the number of times the ball was passed, an astonishing 79 percent failed to notice the girl with the umbrella. In the years since, hundreds of studies have backed up the idea that when attention is occupied with one thing, people often fail to notice other things right before their eyes.

Another name for this effect is called "Distraction".
