I think it could possibly be a hypnogogic auditory hallucination. It reminds me of some of my own hypnogogic sleep paralaise episodes I used to get. Often those experiences would be very violent and/or loud. And they reoccurred in theme over the course of weeks or months.

Lots of questions for you...
Tell us more about this woman. Can you explain why you were only able to make out one phrase? Please be more descriptive. What does "distorted" and "gibberish" mean in this context?
Did she repeat the phrase? Was the phrase part of a sentence? who was she talking to? - You? Herself? Somebody else?

Are you able to get up and move around when hearing this voice? Like, are you able to move your body?
Are you able to make the voice stop?

When do you register the memory that you are describing. Like when do you first think about it. Are you thinking to yourself and reflecting upon the experience while hearing the shouting? Or are you reflecting upon this memory the next day when you wake up?

Describe how you go from hearing shouting to sleeping. What occurs in that transition? - does the voice fade? stop? continue?

You say you have experienced this voice before. Tell us more...
How often does it happen?
When was the first time or how long has it been happening.
Is the voice always the same?
Is there multiple or different voices?
Can you better describe "shouting nonsense"?

How old are you?

Describe your history of using psychoactive and/or hallucinogenic substances. Which substance, how often, how long, etc

ahhhh okay here ya go. just copy and pasted your questions and ill answer them after said question.

distorted as in demonic sounding. I know nothing of the woman, it just sounds like a middle aged woman maybe in the 50s. gibberish is just random blurting out of phrases. while it was occurring, I was trying extremely hard to make out what she was saying, as it was just phrase after phrase in quick succession. The only phrase I could make out was 'you will die here' then more phrases continued on.

Did she repeat the phrase? Was the phrase part of a sentence? who was she talking to? - You? Herself? Somebody else?
again, it was just phrase after phrase, no sentences that I could decipher. I couldnt tell you who she was talking to, if it was me or not.

Are you able to get up and move around when hearing this voice? Like, are you able to move your body?
yes, I was just laying in bed trying to sleep. I could still move my head, arms, legs and whatnot. I wasnt going to move too much or get up as I was trying to sleep ya know. but I eventually did get up after realizing I wasnt going to get to sleep anytime soon

Are you able to make the voice stop?
couldnt make the voice stop

I was fully awake and conscious while this was happening

Describe how you go from hearing shouting to sleeping. What occurs in that transition? - does the voice fade? stop? continue?
I cant really tell you how they stopped. I know I just got up and turned the tv on after realizing I wasnt falling asleep anytime soon, but after I went to fall asleep the second time, she didnt come back

its happened a few times in the past. I cant say its reoccurring, maybe a couple times a year?
When was the first time or how long has it been happening.
first time? not sure, maybe as a teenager?
Is the voice always the same?
from what I can remember, yes, its always been a womans voice
Is there multiple or different voices?
see above
Can you better describe "shouting nonsense"?
again, from before, its just phrase after phrase in quick succession that I cant make out whats being said. its just extremely loud directly in my ear. my right ear I believe actually. I'm pretty sure it doesnt occur in both ears.

How old are you?
27

ive done shrooms, lsd, and a few other hallucinogens. shrooms first time was when I was 20 (before I smoked pot for the first time, lmao. not a good experience) last time was a couple years ago. total of maybe 5-6 times. LSD first time was when I was 24? last time was prolly 7 months ago. total of maybe 10-15 times.
Note that I have heard her before my use of hallucinogens. My use of hallucinogens has never caused me to develop any other hallucinations besides visual. (I can still make a patterned carpet or wall, etc. move, flow when I concentrate on it. thats from the use of shrooms) I've never had any lasting effects from LSD. Think ive had a pattern hallucination once the day after dosing LSD before. (just a faint pattern overlapping my vision for a slight moment) again, nothing lasting and never had any auditory hallucination from use

You mentioned you had heard them before hallucinogens, I asked if you heard the hallucinations before any drugs at all. I ask because drug use is overwhelmingly the most common cause of such symptoms.

That is called prodromic state. I wouldnt get surprised if someone tells me in 2 months that you had an acute psychotic state.

Demons and voices coming around your head in peaceful times like b4 sleep? Dude, check with a shrink

E/ it has been not exacerbated by using drugs. It would be some kind of organic "fail" that is being expressed right now. Too much stress? Broke up recently with your lady? Any terminal illness in your family? Any bad things happened to you when you were a teenager? Did you ever felt hm... postraumatic semiology? I mean like derealization or depersonalization, some kind of traumas that you couldn't handle those days?

Hope I can help :/

^this is true...

happens to me often, when I am anxious or just hyper when I need to sleep... this can also cause sleeping problems, which has also happened to me in the past...
whats important is that you understand the mind needs its rest and no matter what your hearing just TRY not to let it interfere with your sleep schedule...

theres alot of things out there that can be doing this. 1 is synthetic telepathy another would be like a bose audio directional emitter another could be resonant frequancys. If you have pissed any1 off in the past its possible you are being targeted. theres alot of other things i dont know about that could be used to do this look up targeted individuals on youtube to get an idea of what others are dealing with.
