I think dark matter is by far the best current explanation for the observations we've made that predict its existence. Much more likely than the alternatives.

An enormous amount of both theoretical and observational evidence.
BTW what about all the rest of the matter in the universe we can't see that isn't dark matter? We can only see a very small portion of non-dark matter in the universe in the first place.
