if space travel was more efficient we would be building htere now. takes 6 months just to get there and cost enormous. Then there is a matter of refuelling so anything that goes there is just 1 way trip.in order to melt that ice need to start terraforming and pump co2 out trap heat and hope to create an atmosphere, that takes hundreds of years to do.who knows what kind of bacteria is trapped frozen in that ice aswell, could be that black ooze virus shit like in the xfiles who knows lol.be easier to build a base on the moon and go from there.

Yeah they need to find new fuel and make ships go at least 120,000+ mph. 6 months is way to long. Maybe have like 7-9 space stations, where you get off at each one, relax (a little of course) and then continue to next ones.

They also wanted to use large mirrors in space to reflect sunlight onto the ice caps to melt them. But CO2 would be best option, need to get those greenhouse gases started. Though it would take I hear like 60+ years to terraform it.

I think what we should all be remembering is... when we get there.... we could overthrow the government and make a 1 world government on mars..... NWO if you will..............

what nasa needs to do is not give up on that EmDrive they have been working on or work on better ion propulsion systems, chemical propulsion will only get you so far.

What is the EMdrive could you elaborate about it quickly?

a device that can harness microwave radiation inside a resonator it will generate small amounts of thrust without use of propellant, energy outputs are greater than what is required to run everything. from what i can remember should read up on it if it is perfected will revolutionize the space industry.

Damn that's pretty awesome. I think I'm going to read about it now lol.

Damn it's said violate the laws of physics also. Only sad part is that they aren't really putting funds into the research. They said they are working on a new propulsion system though.
