looked at recent topics...clicked on the only one that seemed halfway serious

1st reply: saying there is no reason to respect other cultures
1st reply: saying the catholic church is the most evil thing on the planet
3rd reply: resorted to using Nazis in the argument
4th reply: disregarding any positive influence the Nazi's regime had because "omg hitler"

godwins law ftw

Could our universe just be a black hole within another universe? Could black holes be a way for a universe to replicate itself?

Thoughts?

Yes since the space/time can be relative... all the milions of years our planet exist here can be a simple second on a black hole

Everything its possible because we know nothing about the universe.

Considering the amount of pressure you'd experience inside of a black hole would rip you apart instantly.. No probably not. The black hole theory was shot down anyway by a member of the scientific community and the majority of the community was in agreement with the findings.

Although I also agree with Finances..

Not really. Black hole's inside horizon idea is that it is extremaly dense. A lot of matter in 1 point smaller than an atom. Is our Universe so dense? Nope :)
I love black holes so feel free to PM me for some further conversations or questions, I am not an expert but I am more into them recently.

Greg

Density would be a matter of perception at that point.

Consider a single ant in a crowd of people. The ant does not know how big the crowd truly is, because he can't see beyond the first few individuals.
So, is it possible that we are the proverbial ant, stuck inside a black hole that contains our entire universe? Sure.

Black holes are merely the recycling bins of the universe. Once every single star has turned into a black hole and merged with the rest of the black holes, another "big bang" will occur and the universe restarts.

so never because only some stars are capable of becoming black holes.

I am aware that not all stars form black holes. But it is inevitable that eventually, everything in the known universe will be swallowed by "the super hole"
