I've been reading alot of opinions from this topic.
Most quite relevant indeed.
From my experience there are several types of "psychics".
1- The fake ones, who do it to just mess with ppl.
2- The fake ones, who do it with a certain finesse, that makes them seem real. But they only do it to make bank.
3- Real ones, who do it to make bank; charge an arm and a leg, time the whole thing, etc. Not really doing it to help but for selfish monetary reasons.
4- Real ones, who do it to get famous. Wich might make them alot of $ also but it's not the goal. The point is to show people that they do exists, give ppl "hope", help them if they can, etc.
5- Real ones, who do it only to help ppl. These ones do not care for fame or money. They have understood how most humans are, and so they wouldn't want to be more than just word of mouth contact; friends, family, etc. They do not wish the world to know about them, because they know how most will react. They dont need nor care for such emotions. It's their calling, so to speak.
As fot the whole test being run via that wiki link. I'm not sure what to say.
I read the whole link and I cannot define it. I would have to see exactly what the test is made of, the steps taken and so forth.
I mean, honestly, if someone is psychic and they are put under such tests that negate the way they're mind/body perform... how can they truely pass the test. Specially if it's done in a way so that no one can pass it?
Again, I have no idea how it works, just thinking out loud.
Imo. if you see someone that lives half way around the world; that you have never had any contact with, not a single person you've ever met during your life has met that someone and your not famous so theres no way this someone has ever heard of even your existance... well lets say you meet this someone and they describe your life, from the day you were born, to how you come in front of them, and everything this someone says is true... I'd call that quite a gift
(and I'm not even going to say that someone tells you your future, cause thats when things get a bit odd. Other factors come into play that have nothing to do with psychic and more to do with how the mind works)
e - Crap, I just realized why I didn't post here, it's cause thread owner is nothing but a troll. (had 1st hand experience with him)
Oh well, at least other ppl here are more serious and care to talk about factual stuff, instead of mocking ppl
