cloning
To clone, well you know, Ron Pail.

I appreciate the plug. But I think one Ron Paul is more than enough. In his words, the future belongs to
us.

Can't believe this hasn't been said yet...
Time travel.
There are many schools of science that proscribe the belief in continuous time, also banishing the belief we can manipulate it other than by dilation.
I doubt I could explain the whole schema it in a single post but
...try to imagine the past in relation to the present. There is nothing inherent inside or outside of the current universe keeping track of a precise history. The current present shows probable evidence of such past leading up to it, but nothing can
ever show the conservation of said past with absolute certainty. Without this conservation, how could we ever precisely access a prior state of the universe? The same can be said of the future and although it is comfortable to imagine time travel when inclined, it is a backwards hope.
On the other hand, time dilation, which you can think of as the slowing down of time in a certain system, in the hope of extending the lives of astronauts is actually pretty well documented and would be paramount if long-term space missions ever happen.
