They keep it a secret and it's really suspicious to me. Has anyone been able to determine the specs? I know someone who bought one and I want to know if he was severely ripped off. Thanks in advance.
> They obviously keep it a secret because their specs don't justify the price in comparison to other products on the market.

> Perceived value is subjective so if your friend values Dr Dre's brand image and thinks he got his money's worth, who is anyone to tell him he got ripped off? Similarly, if he bought them with expectations of their sound quality to be worth the price, then yes, he got ripped off.
To all you haters out there - Guess what? Dr Dre decided to pour money into celebrity endorsements instead of product R&D. Big whoop. Don't like it? Don't buy it.
Original poster wanted to know if his friend got ripped off. Instead he got a bunch of narrow minded tards who are seemingly oblivious to marketing concepts.

if headphones are some kind of status symbol to you then your most likely a fag.
this.
I can understand people who are audiophiles and use high-quality expensive headphones because they really care about the sound quality. People using the beats, or any other brand, because they just want everyone to see it are hilariously sad.
