If you can't take the personal testimonies of all those people seriously, not to mention all of the other evidence... then I don't know what it would take to convince you. How can you write it off as an "ignorance is bliss" effort? You're blurring the line between skepticism and ignorance yourself.

Well, by definition they are real (unidentified flying object(s))l but they aren't extraterrestrial or from another planet/galaxy/etc

They compare the initial speculations of the world being flat and aircraft unable to fly to UFOs
Just because the Roman Catholic church banned Galileo's ideas, doesn't mean the Roman Catholic church is equal to the government in the sense that the government is banning ideas of UFOs

one of the things that gets me the most is many of our own pilots being taken down by ufos and not only that but plenty of them eyewitnessing them taking turns at such an acceleration to simply crush a human totally flat.

Even if the vehicles are not "manned", so to speak, we don't have any technology that can do that. A typical winged craft can fly fairly fast, but can't make any sudden turns. Any helicopter-like tech is way too slow. These guys are trained aircraft pilots, so they have a pretty good idea of flying speeds and acceleration, and they are totally blown away by the stuff they see. UAVs don't have any particularly amazing performance, certainly nothing that would wow a fighter jet pilot.
