I find it a little strange that there has to be a reason or meaning behind the existance. At this point; we do not remotely have enough technology to figure out the exact origin of everything in our realm of existance. Its left to philsophy and speculation. I think the amount of time needed to posess such technology; the sun will have already gone supernova and likely our species would be gone too.

We exist, lets get over it and move on

Not really, he didn't say anything close that what toothfairy said, he just said "Existence exists because its existence, and its not nonexistent because it is by definition existence." He just tried to make it sound profound + stuff.

no hes really just stating the anthropic principal. Though i would actually agree with him. When we really think about it, we could not come up with a reason for existance. So the best we can do is to say that existance exists. I dont think there is any "reason" for it. And i dont see why it has to have one. If we found out the reason for our existance, would that really change anything about our lives here on earth?

I used to ask myself that question all the time. Why do i exist? Its an odd thing to think about but i ultmatly realize that im glad i exist and thats the end of story.

we dont have a reason to exist. we have no greater purpose in life or anything. we are here by blind luck and there is no reason of why.
