I 100% believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life but i do not believe we have been visited. Its just simply not worth the time of the alien race to come here. The most they would do is send a probe or some other sort of robotic device to our moon and just monitor us. Because if aliens are to come here and able to make the multi million if not billion light year trip in a reasonable amount of time thats gives much information on how advanced they are, they will be at least hundreds of thousands if not millions of years more advanced then us. This puts the intelligence level of alien vs human compatible to lets say a human "them" to an ant "us" Now think about it logically do we try to talk to ants? do we try to explain to them what a super 8 lane high way is? no we just study and monitor them.

The aliens will be so advanced anything they wanted to learn about us they could with a probe on the moon with high powered scanners etc, they dont need to abduct us and put us on a examining room table, plus the amount of effort to send biological beings into space is much greater then sending robotics

Not to mention what benefit would the aliens get from trying to teach us stuff? everything we currently know or believe to know they knew thousands of years ago we could teach them nothing and the things why would try to teach us we couldn't understand when our own intelligence level becomes comparable to that of a dog vs human something they can semi interact with they might make a physical appearance and if aliens were to come they would not be interested in our technology but our art, especially art that is based on numbers like music and such

What about just the interest of studying the planet itself?

Or the fact that there indeed could, and I believe are aliens out there, but they are less sophisticated / technologically advanced in comparison to us.

I mean im not opposed to aliens "visiting" us now. Im sure with all the "ufo" sightings there has to be a legit one. All theories about aliens being here when we were primitive could be legit, or could be fake. But i think all the reoccurances in history involving gods comes up too often. I believe its possible, but with out proof thats all it will be, is possible.

even if we gonna bump in to a planet at some point with intelligent life on it i dont think we gonna make a contact straight away ...
