No. I believed in god when I was younger and when I was influenced by my parents beliefs.

I have one simple theory on faith.

Faith is like a disease: It can be transmitted and kills a LOT of people.

although some churches do really good things and positive things and i applaud them for that

Funny. I believed in Christianity until I was 21 or 22. So really, this is not a good argument, because I guess I just needed "some more time."

At least I was never an end of times fanatic, though. I thought the movie Left Behind was pretty stupid.

Thats the thing, if anyone says they "Used to be a Christian" they never were truly saved in the first place.

It requires a true, sincere, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I wasn't able to come to Him until I was 23 years old.
