i just wanna know why all you people support someone else's idea, wtf are these scientists blowing u? why do u just push their bullshit agendas, as i said, i dont expect u to believe what i say, but at least open ur damn eyes and dont just suck up their bullshit like a sponge

So you came up with the idea's you follow all on your own? cg

the big bang is just an extention of the biblical creation story, and since a lot of people have a christian background they find it easy to convert over to the religion of big bang, i mean, it was invented by a catholic priest

Ofc the Universe coming from a singularity is just like the christian belief that a eternal god did it. I see all the parallels now, thanks.

sry cant watch video at work, but if you actually read cosmology magazines/arcticles, more and more scientists are abandoning the big bang theory. it is really starting to look like the universe is infinite (spatially, and in regard to time and matter). red shift is way off, speed of light is no longer considered constant as einstein thought (different ends of spectrums travel at different speeds! what?), etc. realizing we can only see ancient galaxies when looking at great distances (their light is still "on the way" though most of it will never reach us, ever for all of eternity [if you believe in cosmic expansion theory]) we dont know anything about the current condition of the other side of the universe. through experimentation they (we?) have all but disproven big bang theory. trust me i was extremely reluctant to accept this, but you have to truly question your beliefs in order to truly believe in them.

i think it would be much more accurate for everyone to admit we can only speculate and we do not know and have no means of knowing as of now. Big bang is not being claimed and asserted as fact and shouldnt be.

if u cant see the similiarities then ur in denial,
my only point in posting here is in hopes that people will be more critical before they accept a theory, if i planted the seed of doubt that the big bang might be wrong, then my job is accomplished

IF you think a god creating the universe in "seven days" is equal to anything the big bang said; then the only seed you have planted is that you might be retarded.

Again, thanks for the lol.

Vouch. Also, keep in mind that while Georges LemaƮtre was a Catholic priest, he also got his PhD in physics from MIT (you can read his dissertation if you like, it's free to view online: http://dspace.mit.edu/handle/1721.1/10753 )Just because someone is religious doesn't immediately make them bad scientists.

Big Bang doesn't posit that there was nothing, so your demotivational is invalid.

It's more like "In the beginning we have no fucking clue what was going on, then space started expanding and it was really really fucking hot at the time."

About as much sense as an eternal god who got bored one day and decided to create an entire universe full of thousands of galaxies just to populate one planet with us.
