Then don't ask for other people's opinions moron.

if you aren't willing to put in time and effort to look into a specific subject, then you shouldn't ask people for their OWN opinion.

it is your decision to make, and you need to have the proper education.

your case is inhereantly flawed. Ive read the bible, and in it are so many contradicting statements that when a religous advocate attempts to explain it, the answer is always; its subject to personal intrepretation.

If that is the case, then so is everything in genesis. You cant pick and choose which parts of the bible are realtive and which are fact.

Plus i will once again point out that the bible claims we were created a mere 4000 years ago, which if you know ANYTHING about radioactive decay, then it is OBVIOUS that not only have humans been here for millions of years, but life in general is much much older. Plz explain dinosaurs to me

I don't think anyone with the proper education has ever come to the conclusion that Creationism is correct.

Exactly. I didn't either.

But if you look at "Matthew 24" you will see. And it only takes 2 minutes, you don't have to real the whole bible, just take a quick glance at the words of Jesus Himself.

Google: "Matthew 24" (Jesus tells us how the end will go down.)

?? we are talking about the beginning not the end arent we ;O

oh you and your end of times :P

evolution is bullshit.

We may have adapted, but not evolved.

It is all opinion, and it is impossible to really sway the vote.

Read the Bible, then study evolution, then get back to me.

It is the only way to really understand.

I'm guessing you haven't read your own bible then, otherwise you probably wouldn't have made this argument.

We have overwhelming fossil evidence, evolution is not a mere conjecture as you suggest. Given how difficult it is to produce a useful fossil, we are lucky to even have them. And still, even if we didn't have a single fossil the DNA evidence alone is enough to confirm the air tight case for evolution. It's as fact as any other theory we currently have.

I don't suppose you've read some of the many atrocities in the bible by chance, have you?

Apparently you should utterly destroy towns that have unbelievers. (Deuteronomy 13:13-19)

There are so many atrocities and flaws in the bible it's ridiculous.

Oh and by the way, Captain Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek is quoted as saying, "Seize the time, Meribor. Live now; make now always the most precious time. Now will never come again". We can all quote something. Just because you're quoting the bible it doesn't mean anything. Many accept the bible off faith alone, but we don't. When it comes to real world claims they need to be backed up.

Sounds like you fit in this department, you have a foot in each.

"Theistic evolution and evolutionary creation are similar concepts that assert that classical religious teachings about God are compatible with the modern scientific understanding about biological evolution. In short, theistic evolutionists believe that there is a God, that God is the creator of the material universe and (by consequence) all life within, and that biological evolution is simply a natural process within that creation. Evolution, according to this view, is simply a tool that God employed to develop human life."

The only problem with this is that the "words of jesus" were written down many years after his death. I don't think a giant game of telephone really proves anything.

Except the books weren't composed until ~100 years after his death.

Where are you getting this information?

The earliest manuscripts date to the time during his crucifixion.

They are finding 1000s of identical 1st century manuscripts every year, which is good because they compare them and see that they're all pretty much the same.
