Well I don't think morality should be thrown out the window. Morality is the foundation of our government's laws and our coherence as a society. Without morality we would have none of that. Without morality someone could rape you and your family and then roast your family over a fire slowly while they're still alive, and there would be no repercussions. Without morality a lot of things would go wrong, and it wouldn't be too great of a thing. If all humans and I were born without a sense of right and wrong then I would certainly agree with you, but alas, we do have a sense of morality and we do have feelings and we do have empathy.

So I was watching "the pianist" today for the second time and I started to think about why this stuff happened. Not why Hitler did what he did but why the whole world let it happen.. Also for the people in the army doing the killings for Hitler, how can u be that fucked up in the head to do such things without any remorse... I would simply would not stand taking someone else's life even if that person deserved it. Let alone killing hundreds of innocent people. So you can say a whole army was brainwashed, and that justifies it right?
Because giving power and a gun to a fucked up mind is the recipe to success. But yet it seems like this is happening again in a more subtle way..

As for doing what the soldiers did... The Nazis employed a psychological principle where if you completely strip a person of their humanity, then other people can be made to do absolutely anything to them. People were convinced that the Jews were less than human, which allowed for the Nazi soldiers to do what they did.
