ignore them. ants like many problems will simply go away given enough time.

i really dont think ants would simply go away... i mean if they have a source of food (crumbs) and a warm place to live, why would they move/die off? as others have said, already i would try a combination of spraying the perimeter and then using a couple bug bombs in the house to kill off any that may be currently living in your home.

and spray down of course then finally find the source of where they are coming from and kill that
