An underground nuclear blast would necessarily make glass underground if there's sand above it. The farther down the nuke was detonated, the older the sand was before it was turned to glass.

Hold on...something isn't right here...

Radiation still so intense, the area is highly dangerous...*snip*...evidence shows an atomic blast dating back thousands of years, from 8,000 to 12,000 years, destroyed most of the buildings and probably a half-million people. One researcher estimates that the nuclear bomb used was about the size of the ones dropped on Japan in 1945

You can go walk around Hiroshima now just fine 65 years later, yet after 10,000 years they claim the radiation at this site still makes it dangerous? Give me a break, any radiation from an atomic blast that long ago would have decayed faaaaaar beyond the realm of dangerous and may even be undetectable...this is a joke.

because when they dug down they found a nice layer of glass.

meteorites are similar around where it impacted but as it gets farther our you get sprayed chunks but not a consistent layer.

but the main thing is analysis. meteorite glass is usually part of the meteorite. because most meteorites are composed of iron and nickle the glass is made up of sand, iron, and nickle and is a black glass.

now this ancient city had no evidence of meteorite material and further more the glass found was "green" glass that is consistent with an atomic device.

a nuke does the same thing, the farther away, the less prevalent the glass. its just normal thermodynamics baby! these bullshit tv programs and books distort the truth. there was no nuclear blast before the US started testing imo.

there would be trces of advanced technology unless aliens blasted a primitive society for some reason/alien accident. then they covered traces of their technology.

I didn't know I was trolling. I just have no reason to believe that there was a nuclear weapon detonated 10,000 years ago, and a meteor or an underground nuclear test are far more likely to have caused this than anything else, given that there are no remnants of any technological civilization and even nukes don't erase every sign of human civilization at ground zero.

exploding nukes underground is a far different thing than what they found.

but ya im basicaly done with this thread.

everyone can do their own research. which hardly matters since people will believe what they want to believe. myself included.

Look at Tunguska. It had all the trimmings of a Nuke.

It was an airblast though from a 100 foot wide meteor.

Thats what probably happened to the ancient city.
