There is some evidence there but none of it is conclusive and none of it is strong enough to really put the red alert button on. For example, there is a 1 in 40000 chance that asteroid Apophis will collide with the Earth in less than 20 years (No I'm not quoting Enter Shikari). NASA's 'IRAS' (The Infrared Astronomical Satellite) detected a large heat mass at the edge of our Solar System, it is said that Planet X (Nibiru) is a brown dwarf star (unignited star). This would explain the altering of planets orbits. It is also said that this 'Nibiru' has a very elliptical orbit, coming very close to the Sun. There's loads more to support 2012, but I'm not going to write a book for you. Go research it yourself.
Anyway, what evidence there is, isn't very strong evidence. I suggest you take precautions just incase there IS an apocalypse. However, you should always be ready for an apocalypse imo, especially one of the nuclear kind.
planet x is a joke
if there was a brown dwarf it would still emit enough light/radiation to be detected esp cause its just a little over 2 years away from the said date , Seti would of picked it up years ago cause it has to be emitting massive amounts of radio waves
the heat source could be a simple collision in the oort cloud there are some objects in that cloud bigger then pluto
