None of the shit we do, apart from dropping a shitload of nukes at one time, is any worse then what the planet has gone through on a regular basis.
Super volcanoes, meteors, ice ages. These are all things that have happened before, and will most definatley happen again.
1 Degree is nothing compared to a meteor which would cause everything above ground to catch fire all over the planet.
Not to mention all the Co2, debri, and dust from a super volcanoe, many times greather then what our nukes could do.
Even that isn't a problem, many, many, lifeforms would survive everything apart from the core of the earth being blown up.
It is the core of our earth that helps us have an atmosphere by producing a very strong magnetosphere. So even if the atmosphere was blown off, the earth would be fine.
