if you want to call it luck then sure. and i believe that the dating is our best estimate so far.

It is my understanding that organic evolution takes 500-2000 millions years right? So earth could have been a barren rock just like many of the other planets that surround us now?

im not 100% on the bearing of your first question. as for the second the elemental and chemical makeup of out planet in this period of the planets history is good for life forms on it. in earlier times on the planet current flora and fauna could not have tolerate the atmosphere and temperatures.

But what we do know is evolution takes millions and sometimes billions of years to occur. Around what time did "modern" humans come into existence? Not talking about cavemen.

around 200,000 years ago by what we know at the moment. that is by no means a a fact but just the oldest remains we've found so far of our kind.

And this was found using carbon dating?

Even though it isn't accurate in anything past a few thousand years due to the carbon levels being different now than from the past and nobody knows what the carbon levels were back then.

carbon-14 dating is accurate up to 60,000 years. idk where you found your figure but from what i've learned its 60,000 years. and after that i think we have to study the surrounding rocks and such to determine age through different methods than carbon dating. i cant recall what its called but im sure you could find out with a bit of research.

also sorry for being slow was busy lol

So earth is just the lucky winner then(that we know of so far). You believe the earth is around 4.5 billion years old?

So why is the big bang taught as fact

The Big Bang is taught as a scientific theory. It's important to understand a scientific theory is different from the everyday usage of the word theory. In science, a theory is a "collection of concepts, including abstractions of observable phenomena expressed as quantifiable properties, together with rules (called scientific laws) that express relationships between observations of such concepts. A scientific theory is constructed to conform to available empirical data about such observations, and is put forth as a principle or body of principles for explaining a class of phenomena."

Examples of scientific theory's:

- Germ theory of disease
- Theory of Evolution
- Cell theory

when nobody was there to see it happen or record it.

One doesn't need to directly observe an event to know it happened. For example, if someone "x" commits murder, leaves behind DNA evidence, the murder weapon they used has "x" fingerprints all over it, etc... then it's safe to conclude they committed murder, despite not exactly directly observing it.

Here are some links providing evidence for the big bang:

Also where did the big bang come from?

We don't currently know.

Also idk when the last time an explosion created something.

The Big Bang wasn't an actual explosion like a bomb, it was an expansion.

Judging by the rest of your posts, you have a fundamental lack of understanding of the big bang, evolution, intelligent design, and just science in general. I think you've been reading too many creationist websites on the internet. If you want to learn about this subjects, go to college and take some intro classes.
