Its simple If we meet highly intelligent life forms which we most likely will, then
we would communicate psychicly through feeling.
If we meet with lower life forms then best communication is done with pictures and symbolls.
Just think about how would you communicate with a person that does not speak your language or your culture.

dude you really have no concept of how these things work do ya. 99% chance that we will be able to communicate with whatever we find because there is honestly no telling how other life forms evolved. for all we know they might be a blob of goo or something like that.

Why do you assume they'd have a more complex language? Our older languages are actually our more complex ones, are you assuming they're inferior?

they most likley would put a probe on our moon and just vaguely watch us and wait until we become technology advanced to even began to slightly understand them,

because a fact is, if they can travel here with in a decent time span then they are going to be thousands if not millions of years more advanced then us
