Okay but if you believe entities are contingent along with the rest of the modern science community then answer the possibly most debated question: Where did this "bubble" come from? Matter
doesn't generate spontaneously. The laws of thermodynamics say so :). In the most basic form they state the universe had a beginning and will have an end. That is why I believe the universe was created by an authority
superior to the creation. I'm trying to be as least biased as I can here.

On an unrelated note if there's anything I have learned after thinking these types of thing myself... and you probably won't be happy with this answer but,
It doesn't do any good to think about this. It will never be proven. Science can never absolutely prove anything true every time and all of the time. We just accept things the way they are; that's all we can do.
I'm not saying be a simpleton, it's great to wonder because how else do we learn? A bit contradictory isn't it? I try to let go and just be glad I am here

Edit: You are partially right about time. Time affects us. It's the path for change. Time has no meaning to eternal beings

i only tried to explain dark matter as I understand it, hell i didnt even graduate high school... but in my explanation there is alot of fact (fact meaning what the greatest minds at this point have concluded)

all of my information is from the series 'The Universe' a full episode was devoted to dark matter...

scientists also believe that maybe there is no dark matter, perhaps once again we have gotten our 'gravity wrong' as the azn dude (my favorite person in the show) had put it.

jolled, j/w did you read all of my posts on this topic?

explain? did you read the full topic?

everything i said wasnt jsut like i pulled it out of my ass.. it comes from watching my favorite show that iv seen the 1st season and most the 2nd (the 1st explains everything i talked about)

I thought I did. O_o

Last I checked, there was an order directly after the initial expansion, in witch each of the forces "came into existence". Such as the best i can recall offhand this late, before the universe cooled enough to permit matter there was no effect of gravity and so forth.

The History channel is intriguing but you should really research everything they say. i have seriously seen them use horrid "experts" way out of their field of study, to claim something as absolute fact.

lol but who are you really?? i mean if you have a degree in cosmology or even astro physics then you can disagree with them all you want.

"i have seriously seen them use horrid "experts" way out of their field of study, to claim something as absolute fact"

this is untrue because most of cosmology cant even be proven, it is theorys and best answered questions from what knowledge we do know.

IMO nobody has gotten it completely right, and never will.

these "horrid experts," as you call them, are just trying to offer up the best possible solution they can, in the simplest ways the can. (for ppl like me ;) )

as far as researching deeper... im more of a visual learner, this is probably why i didnt graduate highschool. (along with the fact i smoke marijuana, i hate school and all of the other hard things life throws at you)

i just take in what information i can and try to keep my mind open to anyother suggestions. after all, "we are just a speck, on a speck, on a speck" of some larger design..

just another crock pot theory but, maybe we are god, we are living on the giant atoms of what makes up the matter that is 'God'.

anyway if you do have some degree im unaware of, id like to know! and what degree it is you have.

(i wish i would have paid attention in school so at this point i would be in college furthering my knowledge. instead im stuck living with my parents without even a GED :-/ )

1 thing i forgot to add in the last post, it has only been like the last 4 years or so that we have been able to prove anything about cosmology because of the development of a certain satellite. it will be years before anything can REALLY be proven using the new satellite. (forgot the name of it)

Yes probably you could say that the gravity calculations are wrong when it comes to a multiverse theory.

But what I was referring to was the fact that the so called Dark Energy was accelerating the expansion of the universe BUT the Dark Matter doesn't slow this acceleration down and Dark Matter doesn't keep galaxies in check. The gravity center of a galaxy does this fine just by itself! :)
Got it now? :P I'm actually a bit off-topic but I just wanted to correct the facts given before more people started getting this wrong(not that theese theories have even remotely been proven yet)!

There is no actual purpose of life, what we call time is irrelevant. at one point our conceivable 'universe' was made up of the 4 natural powers (gravity, electromagnetism, weak and strong nuclear powers)

a split second before the big bang our universe as we know it was a bubble a fraction the size of an atom. before the 'bang' gravity broke off from this tiny EXTREMELY hot bubble and created 'inflation' which seeded the whole universe with gas's (which would turn into the 1st stars) the inflation was soo quick it was faster then the speed of light. the way this was possible is because since gravity broke off 1st, the rule that nothing can go faster then the speed of light didnt exist yet. fractions of a second after gravity broke off, so did the other natural powers, which cooled the universe by half. the spreaded gases caused by the inflation slowly (from the center where the 'big bang' happened) stars would form and the left over gas/dust particals came together to creat planets moons and all other comets and everything else floating around in each solar system.

two things were created after the big bang, because we dont ACTUALLY know what these things are scientists call them dark energy and dark matter.

Dark energy is basicly the power admitted from the 'bang' it constantly keeps the universe expanding.

Dark matter is an invisible mass, more massive then any partical we can see. dark matter is the mass that keeps galaxies in check (instead of them expanding themselves) it also keeps the universe from expanding too quickly. think of it as a net made of rubberbans surrounding the whole universe.. the more dark energy pushs out the more stretched out the dark matter becomes.. soon the universe will expand passed the limits of the dark matter and we will be so far from the 'middle' of the universe that there will be no heat and everything will freeze.

this all proves there is no 'purpose of life' we are more of a science project in a never ending beaker... the real question is... who is the scientist? and is this the only beaker? saddly something human kind will never know...

Your preaching on d2jsp. It's really sad that this is the only place someone might listen to you.

youre talkin shit on jsp.. its pretty sad thats the only place you can do so...

i wasnt preaching.. im expressing thoughts that my shallow r/l friends cant even wrap there minds around..

it was a great topic i thought.. different theories and ideas of something that no one really knows the answer to..

i had fun.. thats all that matters :)

There's no purpose to life, bro.

Better go off yourself, or get yourself off, just saying.
