But to the OP -- we honestly don't know enough to say a God exists, and we don't know enough to say he doesn't. Consider the size of the universe -- at least from what we've seen, and then you see that even a very slim probability of life occurring somewhere in the universe suddenly becomes quite large in terms of absolute numbers. design doesn't have to be the answer, randomization could be -- and maybe something entirely different. Even your Michael Behe isn't qualified to answer, or even START to make assumptions like that, because we simply just don't know enough.
Intellegent design is a theory that since many things have distinctive paterns and we recognize them, then there must be a superior being who created us and the universe.
This makes me lol b/c they are "programmed" into our mind by the fact that we have seen similar patterns all of our life.
