I've purchased 3 cars in my lifetime and while researching them, I never even thought about who makes them. However, I've purchased all 3 foreign cars based on specs, price, performance, design, etc.

I find it sad that foreign car manufacturers can make a car that is better and cheaper than an American car, ADD the import tax, and still be cheaper.
If buying a foreign car makes me hate America, then you buying an American car just because it's American makes you an idiot.
