No way, same here. Only I always seem to push through at the last second. I believe that's called procrastination?

Yeah but I've been procrastinating 24/7 for about 3 years now.
Only thing that's changed is I'm going to a different high school that's easier and I'm going to be able to graduate earlier from, so I guess I motivated myself to do one thing right.
Funny thing about that one change, though, is that it has essentially enabled me to do even less and have less motivation all around, but still get a diploma.
I dunno, pretty sure I'm screwed after high school.

Last year I procrastinated horribly. Got bad grades for the most part. But this year I haven't been procrastinating as much. Mainly because I think I am more interested in the subjects. Like last year, I had to study a lot etc. And that just made me get very bored of school. I ended up procrastinating. Now this year, I rarely have to study and I get good grades etc. It just comes easier.

If I gave you a billion dollars, would you be AS concerned about comparing your intellect to others?

wanting to be intelligent for the sake of being intelligent is a rare case, atleast i think...

Intelligence is a biological trait, not something you strive for. You are naturally born with it.
Just because you study all night doesn't make you intelligent. It's just memorizing.

But you can have potential intelligence that you don't use.
I mean, if you could understand complicated calculus systems or something, but you never expose yourself to them, are you anymore intelligent than a person who tried to understand them but couldn't?

I'm in 10th grade and I've been copying homework since 7th grade. Like literally all of it. I do projects or big assignments and I study for a test when I need to, but I mainly coast by with all As (all honors classes). I want to be a doctor and I feel like I am not going to make it because I have the worst work ethic ever and pretty soon my high school intelligence will run out.

That's an example of how intelligence doesn't = success
I guess.

How can we compare the intelligence of dolphins to chimps? They don't study things.

Intelligence
–noun
1. capacity for learning, reasoning, understanding, and similar forms of mental activity; aptitude in grasping truths, relationships, facts, meanings, etc.

What you're capable of.
