ye many centurys ago ppl used to see Angels and Demons, now people report seeing U.F.O's, wait maybe 100 years and people will start seeing transformers lawl

like how some former military guy told in an interview how the US goverment sold the technololgy out of the rosswell crash of things like for example circuit boards to large companies.

there are lots of reasons why to hide it. Money is the just the most obvious one, since the whole world is obsessed by it.

How's this for odd?: My mother and I were walking home from the mall (grocery store) about 12 or 13 years ago, and as we made out way up a hill leading to our home, I saw a light that was zipping around in the sky. It was broad daylight, and it was going way too fast to be an aircraft. It was moving around erratically, so it could have been some kind of reflection, but how it appeared like that beats me. I didn't say anything to my mother at first, because I actually thought I was hallucinating (hot day, carrying groceries, thirsty). But then I saw that she was looking up, too, so I just asked her "do you see it?", and she said "yeah, I do, don't look at it" [not sure to this day why she said that, but maybe she was thinking that if it was an alien spacecraft, they wouldn't notice us if we didn't pay any attenion ... lol ... sorry mom]. When we got home and put away the groceries we talked about it for a while and never brought it back up. Pretty weird, but I'm certain it was a reflection of some kind. I've heard that this can happen, so it's the most likely explanation.

That being said, I don't believe UFOs have visited the earth or abducted anyone, despite the hundreds of thousands of such claims (even my own story doesn't convince me). There's just a lot of weird natural stuff like fireballs in the sky (I saw this once, too, and it's a REALLY amazing meteorological condition], auroras [saw the Northern Lights before, really beautiful], hallucinations, and shooting stars for example; and there's technological stuff, too, like helicopters, air balloons, blimps, airport/airplane lights, satellites, etc, all of which may contribute to the numbers of accounts for UFOs. Alien abduction is usually explained in terms of psychological events (overactive imagination, chemical imblaance, sleep disorder, psychosis, etc). People can believe what they see, or they can look a bit deeper into how and why they see what they see.

Dude, theres a difference between it would be foolish not to share your knowledge and, lets assume the position of world power with our superior technology. This is called politics and control, there is no scientific opinion as to whether we should share the info -- no dude, this isn't an ideal world.

First off, there is life out there -- there has to be, accounted for the number of planets in this universe. If an asteroid with bacteria hit our planet and gave it life, that asteroid was definitely part of a bigger rock wihich probably had other bacteria or w/e on it -- which subsequently could have gone to different places.
2. Theres is no way for us to know whether they are intelligent or not, but chances are also there that they may be intelligent...again just statistics, and the number of planets and stars should be proof enough.
3. W/e, I never talked about them coming here, I don't ever think they will -- my situation was just a hypothetical one, but distances in this universe are just so gigantic that its probably not going to happen.
4. They probably don't have the means to come here if they some how knew we existed...assuming they're intelligent in the first place -- but again I'm not even talking about whether they are coming to Earth ever.

Also, most alien life is still probably bacteria, but evolution isn't just bacteria dinos furry mammals - humans...thats just how it happened on Earth -- they could be giant flying squid monsters with 15 eyes...because their environment is different and you evolve according to environment.
