why would light have any thing to do with speed

The basis of relativity is that there is nothing faster than the speed of light. It is a limit in our universe. All consequences of relativity (length contraction, time contraction, etc.) are because of this theory.

It would have to be absolute zero and has never been created or viewed on earth. It is the complete absence of energy; no particle movement at all. This property, however, does not apply to light.

The speed of light is a fundamental constant. I can't even imagine how crazy the universe would be if the speed of light (in a vacuum of course) wasn't a constant.

Light would still move at absolute zero. Matter itself, will not move though (I believe it would have zero entropy).

True. I wasn't clear enough in my response, I was just trying to define the concept he was thinking of.
