Uhm...why you need to memorize this im not sure (you really shouldn't need to) but as you go through chemistry and do more and more problems you'll eventually memorize everything automatically. Just rote memorization is stupid...if your teacher or someone is making you do this...they are stupid lol -- you will forget the very next week...but if this is the case -- learn it by the columns. Alkali, Earth metals, transition, non metals etc.. easiest way is to break it up into sections like that.
