Who cares if u r told wrong/not completely correct things about history...

With absolutely everything related to our history, there is a big chunk of imagination involved... many history/religion books in the past have been rewritten multiple times by

people that haven't even lived in the period they are writing about and with each new book there's something new added which is most likely just a theory but becomes a "fake" truth over big periods of time...

At the end of the day, non of this really matters. Couldn't care less for some rocks being discovered... its widely known that early humans were severely superstitious (much more than people nowadays) and that provokes

a specific type of behavior which when we now observe, makes us think that they know something we don't when most likely all the signs and symbols etc are just an attempt to create a meaning out of something we

don't understand... and its not their fault...

imagine urself thousands of years ago, seeing the Aurora Borealis, anyone at that time would go nuts and think those r spirits or Gods or w/e else u might think of thats unnatural...

and that kinda thing provoked religious thoughts over time and bla bla bla.... its just stupid human stuff  "trying to find deeper meaning in anything we dont understand"

i can understand that but there are more interesting topics to theorize about than religion and human history... people get lied to on a daily basis about pretty much anything... and in most cases they don't even get

controlled by super intelligent people but rather groups of superstitious millionaires who, just cos they got money power, now think that they are "Gods"

Evolution of life is a much more interesting and controversial topic... then again we might just be living in the matrix and all of this could just be a simulation, which would make much more sense since theres so much

unnecessary stuff that don't need to be exactly as they are (cosmetically) in the universe that we know ;p

Well, you may not care about history as much as others, myself I see the sheer denial of anything older than 6000 years old as pure unprovable magical coincidence only gives weight to the idea that it actually matters a lot. IMHO, mentioning these things is not to challenge Religion itself - but to suggest that it needs to include this ideology and encompass a full disclosure of knowledge so as to not be seen as a tool to control the masses. Power and money are not Gods to be worshiped, and with that in mind - here's a much more recent video that really seems to put this into perspective if viewed with discerning eyes.

See how it simply doesn't matter although people are totally obsessed with the now and its just simply a tool for distraction.

As per your thoughts about living in the Matrix, it certainly might be true.

That guy has nearly a million subscribers to his channel, that video has near 2 million views in 4 months and a 97% upvote rating, I like seeing how possessions people built melt back into the nothing burgers they are when that person is gone, so funny.

nothingburger
something lame, dead-end, a dud, insignificant; especially something with high expectations that turns out to be average, pathetic, or overhyped.

When people pass away, they are gone.

As for what I'm talking about, it seems frivolous and short sighted for people to be so concerned about the now while disregarding concern for the past and without care for the future, that when people pass away, this issue seems to be particularly poignant.

Like for example - how many people are addicted to shopping, overspending and credit in order to get some immediate gratification, how about over-eating and people who are addicted to their social media presence - like people who rush to twitter to post a photo of what they ate. What about caring about how green your grass is, how popular the music you like is, how fashionable you are, your possessions, lots of example about caring about the now a little too much.
