If population genetics varies between individuals then why do all humans have canine teeth, incisor teeth, and molar teeth? This combination indicates an omnivorous preference of genetic expression.

Oh sorry, I thought you meant population genetics as in such that affects specific things like metabolism or BMI or whatever. :P

"wow for bumping such an old thread"

If you're interested in vegetarianism in general, or are interested in the adverse effects (health and environmental) of eating meat, this is a good source of information

i randomly scanned through your biased thread. In another word, you talked about the benefits of a vegetarian diet and the adverse effects of a meaty diet, but you should also include in your discussion, the disadvantages of a vege diet.

you made vege diet seem too good, like as if there's no negative effects for someone who only consumes veges.

Keeping a balanced diet (vege+meat) is the way to go ;)

That's my opinion, otherwise, nice promotion.

There are no disadvantages to eating a well balanced vegetarian diet, although there are disadvantages to eating a well balanced omnivorous diet.

I'm not saying a heavy meat diet is good by any means. I have probably 2 servings of meat a day and 5-7 servings of vegetables/fruit each day. But to cut meat/dairy out of your diet completely is almost stupid.

Why?

because there are many substrates that you cannot obtain from eating veges alone.

For example:
Veges have folate but do not have vita B12 which is usually only present in meat/diary products. A deficiency in B12 leads to disorders like megaloblastic anaemia.

A deficiency in Iron in general causes anaemia (letalone B12....)

I've got a whole bunch more examples sitting inside my head :)

Of course, you might say "take supplementation tablets" but there are many side effects taking processed "iron" or processed "B12" in tablet forms.

So bottom line is... "keep a well balanced diet (meat+vege)"

One can get B12 from foritifed food and supplements. Same with iron.

There are not always side effects from taking supplments or eating fortified foods, while there are always side effects from eating meat, be it heart disease, cancer, constipation, etc.

Please do show a few certified statements from articles to support your argument.

Referring to "no side effects from taking supplements"

because there are always adverse effects from taking certain supplementations. It's an additive effect.
